Travel to the Wheel of Brisbane with our Car rental Brisbane service.

It is Brisbane’s newest tourist attraction – an enormous observation wheel situated right on the water at South Bank. The Wheel of Brisbane welcomes both locals and visitors to explore Brisbane from new heights in an unforgettable adventure complete with tremendous views ranging across the centre of Brisbane and the iconic Brisbane River.

Located at South Bank in the cultural, lifestyle and entertainment district of Brisbane, the 60-metre tall ferris wheel gives widespread views of the Brisbane CBD and neighbouring suburbs.

The Wheel of Brisbane is open seven days a week from 10am – 10pm, with tickets costing $15 for adults, $10 for children 12 years and under and with our Car Rental Brisbane service, it is a very short drive across the Victoria Bridge in Southbank. Brisbane hasn’t reinvented the wheel in this case, but simply lent the idea of a giant observation wheel from which to view the great city.

The observation wheel has 42 air conditioned, fully enclosed capsules, with each able to seat up to 6 adults and 2 children. Each journey lasts between 12 to 15 minutes (which is close to 3 or 4 whole rotations) and offers visitors rare 360 degree panoramic views of the Brisbane river and the city itself.

Fully owned and run by World Tourist Attractions Australia, the Wheel of Brisbane stands at an impressive 60 metres tall, illuminating the South Bank skyline and Brisbane River with thousands of small lights at night time and presenting an exciting new attraction for both visitors and locals.
