It is Brisbane’s newest tourist attraction – an enormous observation wheel situated right on the water at South Bank. Located at South Bank in the cultural, lifestyle and entertainment district of Brisbane, the 60-metre tall ferris wheel gives widespread views of the Brisbane CBD and neighbouring suburbs.
The Wheel of Brisbane is open seven days a week from 10am – 10pm, with tickets costing $15 for adults, $10 for children 12 years and under and with our Car Rental Brisbane service, it is a very short drive across the Victoria Bridge in Southbank. The observation wheel has 42 air conditioned, fully enclosed capsules, with each able to seat up to 6 adults and 2 children. Each journey lasts between 12 to 15 minutes (which is close to 3 or 4 whole rotations) and offers visitors rare 360 degree panoramic views of the Brisbane river and the city itself.
