Roam about the Surfers Paradise Bars with our Surfers Paradise hire car service.
After the beaches, after the restaurants… we want more. How much can you take? We’ll keep the clubbing until another article but for now, it’s about some fabulous bars in Surfers Paradise you should check out.
Many of the city’s good bars are clustered around Cavill Avenue and Orchid Avenue, so it’s easy to move on after dinner to your favourite bar. So leave your Surfers Paradise car hire vehicle at your hotel or apartment, because you won’t need it tonight!
Great DJ’s, music and the seductive environment of MyBar at 15 Orchid Avenue, are welded together by its friendly door, bar and floor staff. Relax in comfortable booths around softly lit glass-topped tables. MyBar describes itself as an “exquisite mystique hideaway” and “where you can live your innermost desires”. What else do you need to know?
In the same complex as MyBar, Shooters Saloon Bar has an authentic wild-west décor that immediately thrusts you into a 21st century version of America’s Wild West. Pool is still trendy there, but if that’s not your scene, the DJ’s music and video wall will make for a fun night.
Ruby Tramp is another stylish, up-market bar to head for. Also on Orchid Avenue, Ruby Tramp also reeks with style and good taste. Cosseted opulence is perhaps the best description of Ruby Tramp. With its crystal chandeliers, classic artwork and leather lounges, Ruby Tramp is a great place to switch off with friends.
Don’t miss Minus 5 Ice Bar on Cavill Avenue. In fact, this whole place is made with ice and patrons can only stay 30 minutes… after that you freeze to death! (Joking of course) They specialize in frozen vodka cocktails, starting off with a complimentary drink then limit you to just two more drinks before you’re on your way. Minus 5 is different and part of a small chain that extends across Australia and New Zealand. Give it a try and you’ll have something to talk about for a long time.
