There is a new race in town this year… the Gold Coast SuperGP.
The annual Gold Coast motor racing carnival is an iconic event on the city calendar, attracting many thousands of visitors completing for a slice of the action, both on and off the track.
The name change from Gold Coast Indy was needed after the Indy Racing League series withdrew from the popular Surfers Paradise circuit.
This year, the international motor racing series will co-headline the city’s main event with the Australian V8 Supercars under the new name of SuperGP. There is a range of support categories on offering, including the Aussie Racing cars and Formula Ford.
Grab a front row seat and get as close as you can to all the thrills and spills of the V8 Supercars Championship Series and watch as Ford and Holden do battle once again through the tight twists and turns of the Surfers Paradise concrete jungle.
Watch the A1GP cars as they make their Gold Coast debut in the world’s only country vs. country motorsport series. Make sure you are in attendance to cheer on our very own A1 Team Australia, as cars from over 20 countries hit the streets of Surfers Paradise.
