Explore the range of Gold Coast Apartments with our Gold Coast car rental service.

When driving north from the Gold Coast Airport in your cheap Gold Coast car rental vehicle, you can’t miss the apartments that reach progressively further into the sky as you approach Surfers Paradise.  You’ll be amazed by the luxury hotels and resorts clustered around the northern reaches of the Gold Coast.  Yet, this is just the tip of the many tiers of accommodation that service local, interstate and international tourists to this fabulous Beach and holiday precinct in southern Queensland.

You might want to consider whether you need to stay in Surfers Paradise during the SuperGP or during Schoolies Week.  Are you prepared to stay elsewhere which is less crowded but has much the same facilities for less cost?

Are you prepared to commute to key destinations?  For example, are you likely to spend all your holidays on Surfers Paradise Beach or would Main Beach, Broadbeach or even Burleigh Heads be just as good?   The scale, density and tariffs of apartments generally reduce the further south you go from Surfers.  So why not walk, drive or ride to Surfers when you want to go there?

Here are a few two-bedroom apartments you might want to consider.

Surfers International Apartments, Trickett Street, Surfers Paradise (high rise)
Just around the corner from Cavill Avenue and Surfers Paradise beach, these plush apartments have good sized bedrooms, modern kitchens and excellent views of the ocean. Two-bedroom apartment prices start around $235 a night (accommodating up to 4 people) in low season, $615 for three nights in holiday periods, and $1,350 for five nights during the Nitro SuperGP, Schoolies Week and the Christmas / New Year period.

Ocean Royale Apartments, Broadbeach (high rise)
These apartments are close to shops, restaurants, the casino and just 50 metres from the patrolled beach.  There are plenty of well-equipped, self-contained two-bedroom apartments.  Excellent views can be had of the beach and the hinterland.

Paradise Grove Holiday Apartments, Burleigh Heads (low rise)
Set in six acres of landscaped tropical and semi-tropical gardens.  Has two large salt water pools and outdoor spa, wading pools for the kids and three BBQ areas.  These self-contained apartments have their own kitchen and washing facilities, TV, video and phone.

Belle Mare Beachside Apartments, Coolangatta (low-rise)
Close to the beach, restaurants and shops, this apartment block has its own pool, heated spa, a gymnasium, sauna and a BBQ entertaining area.  Twin Towns Service Club, a popular dining and entertainment destination, is just a short distance away.  Two-bedroom apartment rates begin around $154 per night in the Low Season rising to $240 a night in the peak seasons but with a three to four night minimum stay.

So do your calculations.  If you were to stay at say Burleigh Heads, how much could you save on accommodation?  Would you explore more of the area if you had a Gold Coast car rental vehicle?
